The 4th of July this year may have been missing fireworks (too dry), but we still had a blast with friends and family. This pie was fun to make with little cut out stars, and the berries were just perfect.

Triple Berry Pie
Prepare Crust for 9 inch pie
Filling:
1 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
3 cups fresh blueberries
2 cups strawberries cut
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 egg yolk for egg wash
Combine ingredients and spread into pie shell. Use remaining dough to decorate top of pie. Brush top of pie with egg wash and sprinkle top with sugar. 375 for 1 hour.
